Synopsis
Philippine dramatist Lav Diaz’s Tolstoy-inspired epic (and Venice Golden Lion award winner) follows a woman who is released from prison after 30 years on a surprise acquittal. She finds herself in a now unfamiliar country, searching for the missing pieces of her past life, in order to get revenge.
