Synopsis
Starring Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave in a story of religious mania and persecution so extreme that it has been virtually an underground film since its release. Condemned by the Vatican but praised at international film festivals, THE DEVILS was only released in a censored version in the US. Even the censored version received an X rating.
