Synopsis
Inspired by the tales of Giovanni Boccaccio, the first film in Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Trilogy of Life imagines a pre-modern world where personal freedom, sensuality, and eroticism are central to human experience, and church and religion are fodder for comedy.
