Synopsis
Memories are lost and found in Lorena Alvarado’s subtle “adventure film in minor” ( In Review Online ). With her grandmother’s memory fading, Ena returns to Venezuela and finds her bookseller grandfather on the hunt for rare Venezuelan books — a desperate bid to preserve the only past he has left. Soon, a postcard found in his bookshop sends Ena off on a search of her own, which she hopes will lead her to a long-forgotten writer.
